Cebo Lwakhe Trading Enterprise

Bafana Dladla explained how his organisation, Cebo Lwakhe Trading Enterprise, uses roadshows and the arts to create awareness around environmental issues such as climate change, and educate communities about the importance of recycling.

The judges said Cebo Lwakhe Trading had a strong community presence, which was commendable and brought into the just transition discussion those actually affected by climate change the most and those we didn’t want to leave behind. It was “really awesome” to hear about how the arts are used to promote public awareness and education.
